I love painting what I consider a "mountain portrait" - giving a mountain peak the individual attention it deserves! This portrait is of Pinnacle Mountain on the approach to Sentinal Pass near Lake Morraine in Alberta, Canada. This is one of the most beautiful corners of the world I have ever visited, and peaks like this are a huge part of this beauty.
